The salon opened on October 31<sup>st<\/sup> with a conference given by <b>Pedro Ortega<\/b>,<b> <\/b>on art in our present day society.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bch4dcbow065stdpy\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bch4dcbow065stdpy\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bch4dcbow065stdpy\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bch4dcbow065stdpy\">The photographer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miedho.com\/\"><strong>Ivan M.I.E.D.H.O. <\/strong><\/a> is one of the artists who participated in the exhibition, presenting three of his most recent works of the <b>Doppelganger <\/b>series<b>:<\/b> <i>Sweet Art-Eminescu and Veronica,<\/i> <i>Lady Dada <\/i>and <i>Regn\u00e4gtleppod<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bch4dcbow065stdpy\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bch4dcbow065stdpy\"><i>Sweet Art<\/i> focuses on the image of the Romantic poet <b>Mihai Eminescu,<\/b> considered the national poet of Romania. It is not the first time when the artist chooses Eminescu as the center of inspiration for his art. In this new work, however, the artist himself plays the part of the poet, who appears embraced to the woman he loved, Veronica Micle, here embodied by an allusive and sultry feminine model.  The work ventures into the depth of the madness that the Romanian poet finally succumbed to, depicting his darkest times, pain and tragic love affair. In <i>Sweet Art<\/i>, the artist deals with the emotional and mental havoc of the bipolar disorder, an illness from which the Romanian poet appears to have suffered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bch4dcbow065stdpy\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 480px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Sweet Art\" src=\"https:\/\/niramart.com\/revista-magazine\/files\/2013\/11\/sweet-art.jpg\" width=\"470\" height=\"659\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sweet Art<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"bch4dcbow065stdpy\">In the words of art professor <b>Ana Isabel Diaz Plaza<\/b>: \u201c<b>M.I.E.D.H.O.<\/b>  uses the image of the <b>Doppelganger <\/b>to symbolize the participation of others into our lives,  our influence on everything that surrounds us, which leads to a culture in continuous extension and globalization. Apart from symbolism, the technical quality of his art stands out.
