Maccabi Tel Aviv won the European Cup in basketball after winning 98-86 against Real Madrid in the final game. Immediately after the final whistle, celebrations began with thousands of Maccabi fans in Tel Aviv and Milan. After hitting the game-winning layup in the semifinals, Tyrese Rice, who scored 21 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter and overtime, was named the bwin MVP for the 2014 Final Four.
