Zoltan F. Baruch is a professor in the Computer Science department at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He currently teaches the Structure of Computer Systems, Input/output Systems and Peripheral Devices, and Dedicated Computer Systems disciplines in this department. The main research interests of prof. Baruch are computer architectures, designing with FPGA devices, hardware description languages, and embedded systems. He is the author of eight books and more than 45 technical papers.
Dr. Baruch received his undergraduate degree from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the same university. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery.
